Al N. Filippone
began his career in real estate in 1987, when his real
estate and sales savvy were immediately recognized as William
Raveis International’s “Rookie of the Year”. Within just a few
years his customer base broadened to the extent that Al needed
support to exceed the high level of service that his clients
were accustomed to. Thus he became the first local realtor to
form a “team.” By the year 2000, Al’s team grew to twelve,
including administrative personnel, client service managers and
sales specialists. After a brief hiatus as the Managing Director
of the International Division in Greenwich, CT, Al returned to
Fairfield and founded Al Filippone Associates, located in the
heart of Fairfield Center. Consisting of 20 sales specialists
and support personnel, Al Filippone Associates is recognized as
Fairfield County’s most service oriented real estate Boutique.
Al Filippone Associates combines superb service with the
resources of more than $5 billion in annual sales. The team’s
website, 221SOLD.com, is considered the standard by which other
firms strive to emulate.
Al graduated from Central Connecticut State University and
Fairfield University with a BS in English, an MA in psychology
and a 6th year certificate in Administration. He has been cited
as an expert real estate trainer and marketer of homes and has
been quoted in numerous print media, including the renowned “New
York Times” Sunday real estate section. Al is a member of the
Connecticut Audubon Society, Greenfield Hill Village Improvement
Society, The Trust for Historic Preservation and the Fairfield
Historic Society. He is an annual donor to “Camp Rising Sun,” an
organization for children with cancer that is affiliated with
the American Cancer Society.
Al lives with his wife, Barbara Ryan Filippone, a Senior Drug
Analyst at Deutshe Banc Alex. Brown, his two children, Ryan age
